By accessing or using Motara ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Motara is an automotive workshop management platform that provides tools for managing customers, jobs, invoices, quotes, inventory, scheduling, and business analytics. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
The Service is available through subscription plans with pricing displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee and any applicable taxes. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period.
If payment fails, we will attempt to process payment again. Continued payment failure may result in suspension or termination of your account.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Upon cancellation, you will have 60 days of read-only access to export your data. After 60 days, all your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

You retain all rights to the data you input into the Service. You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide the Service. We will not sell or share your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Motara and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service.
We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or secure. We may suspend or terminate the Service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons with or without notice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOTARA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Motara from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and you will lose access to your account and data after the grace period.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
